When going abroad I think it's important to place special attention when choosing subjects. With all the admin things to sort out, it can be tempting to choose subjects based on the title only without taking a deeper look.

For example a subject like "English II" could focus either on grammar and linguistics or on English literature or both based on the university and if our preference is not to have either literature or grammar then it's clear why always looking at the details of the study programme is key to have a great study experience abroad!
