Don’t be afraid to socialise with locals. They’re really friendly and fun! They know best about the area. Walk around, get to know your surroundings, you can find good deals when you go looking. Google maps and translate are your best friend. Remember most shops and malls are closed weekends. And everyone operates on different schedules. Wear sunscreen, carry water with you and watch your belongings on the beach. Experience the night life as well. Safari is the best club I went to. Music was great and everyone was good vibes. Try as much native food as you can, my favourite was the cafes and desserts. And don’t forget mosquito repellent.
